Private TV Channels Refuse to Air Reema Khan’s Produced Programme
LAHORE: Pakistan private television channels have reportedly refused to air a programme prepared under the banner of a private production house owned by renowned film actress and director Reema Khan.
According to report, soon after shifting to US, Reema had set up her own production house and started producing different documentaries. Besides, according to the reports, Reema also produced a programme “Reema Ka Amrica” (Reema’s Amrica), which features interviews of many renowned and famous Pakistanis settled in the US.
During her recent visit to Pakistan, Reema held meetings with owners and management of different private TV channels to sell her progarmme, but after going through the programme the private TV channels’ management refused to air it on their channels.
Sources said that the post-production of the documentary was not up to the mark due to which the channels’ owners refused to purchase it.
